I just purchased an 04 LX last weekend, all was going good until two days ago when I went to check the trip odo and found it to be reading alot less miles than it should have, both trips. I wrote it off and it was fine the rest of the day, the next morning when I started the car I actually sat in it for a few minutes while it was warming up and noticed that the instrument panel would turn on and off, backlights off, gauges off, then flicker on and back off? What is going on? It also seems like my headlamps get brighter and dimmer sometimes. I have been working 12 hour shifts for the past few days and haven't had a have the charging system checked but it has started every day and it ran the lights so it has to be charging some and definitely should be enough to operate gauges. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

 

Also noticed that my radio/temp. controls lighting goes off and on too!
