I have an 05 Civic LX sedan and the under engine splash shield is mostly there, but was bumped off by the previous owner. I just bought it. Is this a simple thing to fix? I read somewhere about putting scrap metal underneath as a replacement. I guess that or something else could be pop-riveted on, and not too far to block the airflow. Would a flat piece of aluminum do the trick or would it have to be molded? I guess I could buy the part and install it. It doesn't look like it would be too difficult.
Any suggestions?
