07 civic wont start help

Default 07 civic wont start help

well the other night i was on way hame from hospital when my civic stalled so i put the clutch in and it took off . so then i went a bit more the car stalled again so i cranked on it wont go . i towed the car home the nexted day i boosted the car it ran fine til i let the clutch out it just stalled out so now the car wont start at all check engine light is on steady wont go off at all to add to my problems there is no power to fuel pump thanks in advance

No power to the fuel pump? Sounds like you just ID'd your own issue..... No fuel flow can easily cause symptoms like this. On my motorcycles, being extremely low on gas would do literally the exact same thing. Engine will run/idle fine but as soon as you put it under load, it stalls because it can't get enough fuel to keep going.

How do you know there's no power to the fuel pump?

i tested the 4 wires to the plug to fuel pump

what would cause the issue of no power to fuel pump

When you turn the key on but don't start, the CEL should come on then go out. If it stays on steady that probably means the ECU is not booting up and running properly. The ECU controls the fuel pump relay.

Try hooking up an OBDII scanner and see if you can read anything from the ECU.

i allready had 3 mechanics try to but no ones computer would pick it up the check engine light is on steady doesnt flash
