So has everyone had to remove the bumper to install their HIDS? I havent tried to install yet but Ive heard that the bumper needed to be removed and its discouraging, lol.

 

well if you can access the bulb in the headlight from the engine bay i wouldn't see why you'd have to remove the bumper, unless you wanted to mount the ballasts in there

 

You only have to remove the bumper if your gonna change the whole headlight assembly. Not if your just gonna change bulbs

 

on 06 up civic's you have to go through the wheel well to change headlight bulbs can't get to them in the engine compartment and you do have to remove the bumper for the ballast. found a good diy for 8th gen civic's
