1.7 Honda Civic No Start (Has fuel, spark, compression)
2002 Honda Civic 1.7 liter.
I was driving down the road and got cut off and had to come to a hard stop. The car stalled and wouldn't retstart. Towed it home. Tried to jump start it going down a hill. Sprayed starting fluid into the intake. Didnt even sputter. Pulled a coil injector and got good spark. Compression is around 160 in all 4 cylinders. Timing belt isn't broken. Can see the rods lifting when cranking though the oil fill. Thinking maybe the cam shaft sensor or crank shaft sensor. Really dont want to pull it all apart if there's a better explanation or a way to rule them out without tearing it down. It isnt throwing any fault codes either. Any suggestions? Please help...

You're looking in the right directing. Other than fuel, spart and compression you need timing (ignition and cam). Timing belt could be good but could jump a few teeth, that does happen fairly often. Cam and Crank sensors are also good places to start. I'd grab a timing light and start from there.

You were right. Jumped some teeth. Running like new… well for a 2002 with 215,000 miles at least.
