Default 1979 cvcc randomly dies

Hello I have a 1979 cvcc wagon whenever I drive it for more then about 20 min it decides that it’s time for a break and the engine proceeds to loose power till it shuts off completely usually a few seconds. Then I have to wait for a bit till it’ll fire up again I recently bought the car and had no trouble driving it an hour and a half home. Any ideas of what it could be will be appreciated thank you for the help in advance

The phrase "Stay dirty" makes me giggle every time. because this means you assume I was ever clean in the first place (; .

Default Civic dies

I'm just responding I'm case you figured out what was wrong. I have a1979 and it does the same thing. I've changed the fuel pump and next up is a carb rebuild, and I'm hoping something fixes that issue. Anyway, if the rebuild does anything, I'll post it here
