yes, i was wondering if anyone could tell me where i could get a speedometer cable and housing for my 1991 honda civic wagon, 1.6 liter?. it has broke and the garage tells me it is impossible to find a cable and housing, cause they say they cant get cable out of housing?...but they say they cant find a speedometer cable?..i would greatly appreciate any assistance anyone could offer to help me locate this item....procraft35@hotmail.com

 

Honda dealers should still have them. You'll have to disconnect the speedometer end to get the top end of the broken cable out. This is done by removing the "hood" trim over the cluster-- look at it from outside through the windshield and you will see two plastic covers over the screws that need to be removed.
