Default Ac problems

Ok, the fan turns on. Fuse is good. Compressor not turning on. No clicking noise. Ac still blows warm air. Whats the easiest way to check to see if its working. Thanks

Check if power reaches the compressor wire. If it does, check compressor for continuity (3 to 4 ohms to ground), if that's OK you need to reduce the clutch gap. If no power to the compressor, check for pressure in the system with gauges, or unplug the pressure switch on the condenser and test it for continuity. If the switch is open it's likely all the refrigerant has leaked out. If switch is closed and still no power to the compressor, the relay could be bad, swap it out. It is one of the two relays near the left headlight, the other one is for the condenser fan.

Do not be tempted to jump the compressor to the battery with the engine running, that is likely to cause an overpressure leading to damage and/or personal injury.
