hey guys haven't posted in a while, i used to have a 2002 honda civic 4dr but i crashed it, I was lookinng at autotrader.ca and i found a 1992 prelude that is an si with 4 wheel steering system, it has 158,000km and the guy wants $7000 for it, he says it also has an h22 engine in it with 200hp, do u think this would be a good car for me 2 check out, or should pass on by. Thanks for any help

 

Seems kind of pricey to me.But i like the Prelude if I didn't own a civic thats what I would own.

 

hmmmm....... ya kind of, do u live in canada or the states? I guess that wouldnt fluctuate the price much, it seems like a nice car though

 

too expensive. and he's lying- the 2.4 in the 92 si is good for 160hp/162tq.

talk him down at least 4000$. that many miles on a car greatly cuts the value.

 

if the engine has been swapped as he says, don't pay more than 2000$ for it. engine swaps are risky business, and as such, the value actually drops quite a bit.
