Default 1996 Civic EX sedan power windows and locks inop

Sorry to beat a dead horse, but I have been looking for similar problems and answers for several days now all over the internet. I see lots of posts on this site and others, but no real solutions posted, just lots of recommendations (which is ok, of coarse). Many many things to check between, relays, switches, fuses, motors and wiring harnesses.....

My problem is only the drivers window works and none of the locks work. I have checked the "window lock switch" on the drivers door and the fuses under the dash and under the hood...

Are the windows and door locks separate issues, or can they be related? If the master window switch on the drivers door is bad, would it prevent each individual door window switch from working?

Thanks,
Noob (with a new (to me) civic with many issues, thus many posts from me, I appologize)

Ok, I found the plug and disconnected it from the drivers door. Removed the drivers door for room to work. Rolled the rubber boot back and this is what I found...at least 12 of the wires are completely disconnected. Should I attempt to get new pins and re-do what I have, or find a harness and splice? I would post a pic, but...

A new door harness is about $75 at a dealer. I'd be leery of used ones since the wires flex every time the door is opened and they wear out.

Apparently I (We honda owners) need the floor harness which is about $400, not the door harness for this issues.......the connector that needs to be replaced is on the floor harness

I just finished splicing in a connector/wires, right side windows and door locks work, drivers and left rear window are not working. The drivers window was working before I did the swap.

Anyone happen to have a wiring diagram for window harness wires? 96 EX

So I discovered I has two Blu/blk wires on the wrong mates, one was slightly smaller than the other. Now three of the four windows work, left rear still not working. I have power from the ylw/blk wire when I use the master switch, window will not work from the left rear door switch either. Will take door panel off in the next couple days and check the motor...??

There is a post at the top of this forum with links to service manuals but I don't know if they still work.

Test ohms of each wire where they cross the door because the ones that have flexed repetedly often have broken copper inside even though the outside still looks good.
