Default 1998 Civic Si Wiper problem

Hi all,

Car: 1998 Civic Si, 2 dr, 5 speed manual.

I recently had a strange problem with my car. Out of nowhere, my wipers just stopped working. They won't work on any setting, and I don't hear any sound out of the motor at all. I did check to see if a fuse blew, and even changed it with no success. Is it possible the motor died on me? The only thing I can think of that happened before they died is a heavy rainfall.

Any input would be appreciated. I've checked various threads on the board and I did find a DIY picture on how to test the power to the motor but I'm not exactly sure how to connect the cable to the battery directly. I'm definitely a bit of a car-noob.

thanks
