if you listen closely you will hear it. the motor goes from normal sounding to a more throaty sound. it happens around 5000rpm.
you won't feel it. if anyone ever feels VTEC kick in then their VTEC crossover is not properly set. VTEC crossover is supposed to be a smooth transition.

well my 99s vtec kicks in.LOL tho my automatic tranny is probably the main reason for feeling it more.
on my old 94 ex i could slightly feel the vtec kicked in.

well you can feel it but it's not supposed to be like a jerky motion. you can feel the power gradually increase though

on a y8 you will barely hear it if your car is completely stock.

my y8's stock and if you shut off the radio and stuff you can hear it right around 5000-5500rpm and it definatly pulls a lil better but it is a pretty smooth transition

Honestly though..on a y8 its is like nothing.

You can feel vtec on the rsx-s so nicely, its how it should be on every car.
