1998 honda civic doesnt crank

Default 1998 honda civic doesnt crank

One day it was driving fine. Next time I went to start it and it does nothing. All the lights dash radio ect everything works. I already checked battery, starter, igniton switch, and main relay. I dont know what to do now. Anybody have any ideas where to go next or something I might be over looking??? Any help is greatly appreciated thanks

How did you check the starter? What about the solenoid? What about a loose or corroded wire.

Did you check the clutch switch? It's common for the rubber pad to fall off the clutch arm and then the switch won't be pressed to allow starting, even though you pushed the pedal down.

I brought it to advance auto parts and it turn right on. Does the soleniod get checked with that? And for the clutch switch I did find the rubber pad on the floor but doesnt that switch work the opposite way?

Yea that should of taken care of the solenoid also. So the clutch as stated maybe your issues.

Update I tried jumpin the starter and the car started right up. Anyone know where i could find the starter relay?

You may have a bad ignition switch.
