why are you making things up? i don't see where i said the auto manufacturer makes the best parts for performance. I said they made it WORK. You are the one that said the unorthodox pulleys had design flaws and had problems working with the vibrating engine. So, obviously those don't WORK. The auto manufacturer has to deal with the SAME vibration problems yet their pulleys WORK. So, it isn't much of a stretch to design a performance pulley that will WORK.

And yes, the pulleys will not cause much vibration, IF they are designed properly. Since you are the one that said unorthodox pulleys had problems and design flaws, obviously it wasn't designed properly and COULD another source of unwanted vibraton.

Second, I know the engine is the source of a lot of vibration. I am talking about properly designed pulleys. A pulley that is designed properly will take into account the engine vibration. Obviously it can be done since the auto manufacturer could do it.

That is my point. I've said it 3 times now. Maybe I should bold and caps it so you will see it this time..IF THEY ARE NOT TESTED AND MACHINED PROPERLY, THEY ARE NO GOOD

the vibrations are due to poor balance (from crappy machining and crappy testing). if buying pulleys I would recommend getting it from a brand name like AEM because they have done so many of them.
OK, go find me a link to an aem high quality crank pulley. you cant. because they dont make them. because they will destroy a motor. they make accessory pulleys, but thats obviously not what we're talking about.

um.. i'm not sure why you are on the wrong topic but this thread has been about underdrive pulleys (read the first post). anyway, here is the link to AEM UNDERDRIVE PULLEYS http://www.aempower.com/faq.asp?tid=4

yes, but many underdrive pulleys come in a kit with a crank pulley as well. and we've been talking about crank pulleys. i never said anything about the other pulleys hurting anything.

im a little lost to now. but if somethiing so small could have some problems in the future and it wont give you substantial amounts of power gain (i.e. forced induction) then just leave it alone. your stock crank pulley is fine.
