I have a 2000 civic Ex with a D16y8 engine. Well I recently blew a fist size hole in the block. I would like to get a new engine. I have having a really hard time finding a replacement. I am wondering if any other engine will fit. I don't care about speed or power as long as I can get my car running again. Vtec or not it doesnt matter. Please suggest a model number or an engine that will fit wit a little modification. Thank you
