2000 Civic LX Wiper Switch
Do I have to pull the steering wheel in order to replace my wiper/washer arm on my 2000 Civic LX? It will no longer stop running when I use the washers unless I manually push up on the stalk.
Thanks
Thanks
Like the other guy said, I think it can be done just removing the clamshell plastic. Before you start, render the airbag safe:
* Turn off the key and disconnect the battery (a good idea before any electrical work. If you have a stock radio, make sure you know the security code for the radio.)
* Wait 2 minutes.
* Stay away from the front of the airbag while you do this. Take the cover off of the side of the steering wheel. Unplug the yellow airbag plug from the harness and plug it into the red shorting connector.
