Unhappy code P0141: O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 2

first of all hi im new to the site

I have a 2001 Honda civic ex and the check engine light was on with the code P0141 O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 2 so i told my boss about it cuz i work at acme auto and he told me it could b the back O2 sensor so i i bought the sensor but when i was trying to change it the one that was on the car didnt want to come out i hit with a hammer and everything but nothing so i gave up then the next day i drove the car for like 55 miles and i heard i loud noise coming from the bottom of the car then it started to drive slow around 20-25 mpr and then it started to overheat and when i got home i look at the engine and the manifold was lava red so i brought it to a shop and they told me that the cat was bad so i bought a new with two new o2 sensors so then i got the car back... lol and like 1 weeks pass and i was driving home and i heard the same noise and it started to drive 25 mpr and overheating so know i dont know what it could b because i changed everything and it still did the same thing lol i wrote a novel lol but yeah if this ever happend to your civic plz send me a message thanks

You need to find out why the engine is running rich or misfiring-- dumping raw gas into the converter makes it overheat and melt down. O2 sensor #2 is used only to check converter performance it can't cause this problem.

what can cause my civic to overheat ?
