Default 2001 Honda Civic LX Won't Crank

Hi,

I've 2001 Honda Civic LX which is not starting. It's not even cranking. When I try to start, it just makes a click sound and nothing else happens. The battery in the car is just one year old and I tried to Jump Start it as well but it didn't help. Can somebody please help.

The car has 114K miles and recently I had Timing Belt and Pump replaced. I've owned this car since 2001 and got all the regular maintenance done on time.

Thanks!

most likely it your starter, keep trying or get something to tap your starter and it should start, but you'll need to change it out.

Default No crank no start 2001 civic lx

So I have a new starter new battery new fuel pump and filter new spark plugs. When I turn the key the starter comes on but it's the only sound that comes from the engine bay. Motor isn't seized and fly wheel isn't chewed up all teeth look great. Not sure what to do next. Any help is appreciated. Also it's an automatic.
