Default 2002 Civic SRS light on HELP

I got a 4 doors 02 Honda Civic recently the SRS red light always on. I am not good with cars, so not too sure whats the problem. I believe is my seat belt lock. Are there anyways I can find out the problem myself? If is the seat belt lock can I ebay the parts and change it myself? something like this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SEAT-...mZ260297680431

The SRS light indicates that a trouble code is stored in the computer. You will need to take the Civic to Honda to retrieve the SRS trouble code, which is essential for identifying the specific problem. You won't be able to guess what the problem is. For example, the SRS code could indicate a problem with seat belts, air bags, seat occupation detection, or the SRS unit.

Mine was seat belt lock or switch. Honda has lifetime warranty on seatbelts so the dealer had to fix mine for free, even though the regular warranty had long expired. They will charge you $80 to diagnose it, but that was refunded when they found out it was seatbelt.

Feels much better to know we have a working airbag.

thx for the help.. i gonna bring it to the dealer this week.. but do they offer the seat belt life time warranty anywhere in the world? i am from canada.
