Default 2002 Civic window does not go down all the way

I have a 2002 Civic and the driver's side window works fine other than it stops short about 2 " from being fully down. Is this just an alignment issue or will I need parts? I'm more than capable of pulling the panel off but just want to know what I'm in for if anyone else had this issue.

Probably just not a common problem...

Does the window go down slowly? When it stops, does it stop with a thud?

That's a hard one for me to believe.

I find it hard to believe that you think this is a common problem.

Anyway, when you get tired of no responses, feel free to answer my questions, and we can go from there.

This will happen when someone installs an aftermarket speaker in the door, and the speaker's magnet is too large / goes in too deep so the window hits it.

Otherwise, problems with the driver's side window not moving freely generally stem from the regulator being worn out, allowing it to get off track and bind. There really isn't much else to the system.

I like how you completely disregard the questions intended to help diagnose the problem. Nobody can help without information. Answer the questions and we'll help as much as we can. Keep ignoring the attempts at help and nobody will even bother.

I apologize for the mixed signals. I read the response in my email and for some reason did not see the OP's full response...only the first sentence. I immediately went out to the forum and responded without reading the message again seeing the second sentence. Sorry to all.

To answer his question...the speed is nice and fast up and down but when it gets down to the last 2 inches the rear of the windows starts to bind in such a fashion that it tilts the window a little and there is no thud when it stops.
