This is my daughters car. It has 140,000miles on it. I believe the engine is blown and will need to be replaced.

Is it worth it? Or just sell it as is? What would it be worth as is now? Assuming everything else is ok, which I believe it is.

Also she lives other side of country from me at school so it would be 1000 just to ship if I do fix so I may have answered my own questions, but I wanted to hear from the experts on the forum first.

Yes, it is confirmed gone. not seized but hole in it.

Also, I had a typo, its a 2001..not 2003.

 

Well being how the engine is the heart of the car... Id say its worth at least $500-1000.
