Default 2003 civic ex 5 speed

This is my first post on the Forum and been searching a while now here and in different forums but cant find info in whether its possible to remove the tranny from the bottom without removing the subframe it heard its possible but the oil pan has to come out can anybody confirm this or can i remove it from the top.

I have found many tutorials on how to remove the tranny but all of them where on older styles civics and they didnt remove the tranny they just left there hanging while they replace the clutch.
Im planning on changing the clutch and input shaft bearing any help is appreciated.
