2003 LX 1.7 Performance Issues With Codes
I am having performance issues with my 2003 Honda Civic. It is having trouble starting, having a rough idle and low power. I believe some of the codes below are triggered by removing and replacing the air filter and air box. Some of the codes are symptomatic of a timing error that I believe is caused by the Cam Position Sensor. I want to get some input before I start tearing the engine apart.
I pulled the airbox off to test the fuel injectors. All four of them are clicking and working.
Caused by removing the airbox
P0113 Intake Air Temperature Circuit High Input Bank 1
P1457 EVAP Emission Control System Leak Detected (Control Canister System)
P1457 PdPending
Caused by the Cam Position Sensor
P0300 Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
P0301 Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected
P0302 Cylinder 2 Misfire Detected
P0303 Cylinder 3 Misfire Detected
P0304 Cylinder 4 Misfire Detected
P0340 Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
P0341 Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Range/Performance (Bank 1)
P0420 Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1)
P0420 PdPending
