Hello all,

My car is due for an emissions test by the end of the month, however my check engine light is on. I had my mechanic search for the codes and 2 came up.

1. P2183 - Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor 2

2. P0111 - Intake Air Temperature Sensor 1

My mechanic says he is able to reset the computer and remove the 2nd code but was unable to remove the 1st code.

I went to the honda dealership and bought a water coolant temperature sensor (apparently this is the part I needed according to the dealership) and I went back to my mechanic and had him replace the part. The part has been replaced but the same code (P2183) comes up and the check engine light won't come off. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
