2006 Civic Headlights/DRL
Newbie to the site. Wife's '06 Civic headlights and DRL stopped working last night. Bright lights will work and only one orange side light is working now (last night both did - I am told). Main fuse is OK. Have 12v to the lights when switch is on. Seems to me that the switch is OK. Don't see need to check internal fuses if power is to the headlight and DRL connectors. Have read about a DRL "module" in other threads. Seen others spend money on bulbs and not fix the problem. Is this a Honda recall item? Advice/assistance appreciated. Hate to take to the dealer....Thank you.

Continued trouble shooting and determined it had to be the bulbs themselves. Originally discounted due to the timing of both going at the same time. In any event, replaced bulbs and all is well. You need to have small hands to replace these bulbs!

Whenever something doesn't light up, always replace the bulb first and if that doesn't help, troubleshoot further. Check the voltage at the battery with the engine running, if more than 15 volts the alternator is overcharging, and the high voltage will burn out bulbs rapidly,
