hi everyone. i have a 2006 civic ex 1.6 litre AT and it has started knocking. it has 17826 miles on it and currently i did a tune up on it which included a new spark-plug set, new oil and oil filterand air fliter.

it knocks basically at around 25-30 mph and the rpm is around 1500-1800 and knocks when initially the gas pedal is pressed slightly. i dont think so that fuel quality seems to be the problem here.

any one has any ideaas to why is it doing this ?

If I were you, Id take it back to the dealership. Since it's an 06, they should fix it right up for ya since its still under warranty. When a car's that new, try not to screw around with it, because it might void the warranty.

 

yeah, if it's that new, i'd take it back to the dealership, and have it repaired under warranty, and you won't have to worry about paying anything.
