Default knocking noise on 96 civic

It knocks just when the wheel is initially turned, it's not continual. Also this only happens when making a complete turn not just a curve. Any idea what it could be???

Does it sound like a clicking noise coming from the front wheels? If so then it is you CV joints.

Anyone feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

Sounds about right. Also, it could be an inner tierod problem. When mine went bad. It was only slightly worn and made a horrible knocking sound when I turned.

The easiest way to tell is to jack up the car and check the axle boots. It should be very obvious if its broken.

Yeah, it's obvious when you punch the gas and when the car shifts into gear 2 it suddenly breaks!
