Default 2008 Civic, Need to stop the seatbelt buzzer!

I just bought a 2008 Civic EX and the seatbelt buzzer is annoying the crap out of me after only a week. I tend to start the car before I put on my seatbelt [BZZZZZZZ]. My passengers tend to take off their belt before I turn off the motor [BZZZZZZZ].

Is there a way to bypass that circuit? Can the wires at the seat belt be jumpered?

I've found that the best way to stop the seatbelt warning buzzer is to put the seatbelt on.

Sarcasm aside, underneath the seat is a 2 wire plug. Jump it.
