Default 2008 HCH 12v problem

Took it to the dealership and they said I needed to replace the IMA battery, which I did, IMA indicator was on, now off. Now the 12v battery won't charge. I have a clamp meter and have 3 amps on ground, the red (+) wire between the fuse box and the battery, the little wire from red to wherever and 0 amps between red and the engine.

I'm at a loss on this problem.

Is there a fuse between the generator and the battery?

New 12v battery as of yesterday. I can throw the charger on it and the car works temporarily.

Default 12v cont

Why is there no information about the 12 volt battery? I'm sure there is, I just can't ever find any.

I guess there shouldn't be amperage between the starter and battery (after a closer look).

Does the HCH require a special battery that's not available from O'Reilly?
