I bought a 2009 Civic at the end of last year in December. In February I started to hear a creak or even groan when I turn into a parking lot after the slight dip through the gutter and going up the slight ramp -- the typical turn off the street and park routine, in other words.

I had my local LA dealer (who sold me the car) do the 5000 mile maintenance and asked them to look into this. They say they did a 21 point check and found nothing, and could not replicate the noise. But the noise is so obvious that I'm sure that they didn't try hard and didn't want to look too hard -- this is a brand new car.

My problem is that I am not really sure how to describe what is probably wrong. I'm going to take the car back and try again at the dealer, but any suggestions would be highly appreciated.
