I just bought a brand new 2011 Honda Civic LX-S last month. The engine makes a very pronounced "click" and/or "knock" noise/sound (similar to engine knocking, but with a "click" to it as well) every time I decelerate (let off the gas), especially from low gears/speeds. It seems like something is definitely wrong. Any idea what might be causing this?

 

Just take it back to the dealer, obviously you'll have a warranty and they will have a tech drive it and diagnose it.

 

That's true. Thank you for your feedback Scott. I was thinking I would wait until I need my first oil change and was trying to see if anyone knew if this might be a MAJOR problem that I should take care of right away or could I just wait until my first oil change.
