2014 Civic, Mechanic Stumped
2014 Honda Civic EX-L with push button start, 120k miles.
Our mechanic is good but a one person shop and car has now been at his shop all summer. A series of repairs, started with replacing transmission after it died abruptly ($7200). When mechanic test drove before returning car, the sway bars seemed loose so he replaced those and installed new battery since ours was coming up on 5 years. Somehow this caused the immobilizer to kick in and car could not be started. After many hours of going thru circuits, installing replacement EUC, now the car will start but not shut off. Key fob batteries have been replaced, Keys have been reprogrammed twice. At this point unsure how to proceed. Should we just have it towed to a dealer? Thoughts/advice appreciated
