2017 Honda Civic EX-T VSA issues in rain
So my daughter is in college and has a 2017 Honda civic. Now twice in past year when she drove in the rain she told me her car steering started pulling to one direction or the other. Today she said it was so bad she ran off the freeway at a slow speed because the force of the steering wheel was too great and pulled her to the right. She stopped and is fine.
but this doesn’t happen when it is dry. Only in rain.
she said the VSA light came on and was flashing.
I cannot find anything online with people having similar problems.
it has 60,000 miles. New tires. It gets serviced by Honda. There is a recall for steering issue but it was only for 54 cars. We bought it used.
I am wondering if it is some type of traction control issue or VSA sensor issue.
anyone have any ideas or experiences with this?
any suggestions?
thanks
