Unhappy 89 Honda Civic dx wont start....

I bought this civic about a month ago it was running fine until today. I was driving down the highway and it just died without warning and would not restart. I recently replaced the timing belt, waterpump, spark plugs and wires, and valve cover gasket. Does anyone have any idea what it could be? It has power half a tank of gas tries to start but wont.

Does the starter fail to crank the engine? Or does it crank but not start? For the latter, listen for whether the fuel pump primes and check for spark at the plugs.

Let me rephrase that the starter cranks not the engine...

Turn the key to ON(II). Do you hear the low humming noise of the fuel pump priming in the rear (gas tank)?

Click spark link in my signature to learn how to check for spark.

Any CEL codes?

By the way, the fuel pump should prime for 2 seconds in the test I mentioned.

Well all the plugs spark and the fuel filter wasn't clogged I can't really hear the fuel pump so I'm guessing that's my problem.

Replaced the main relay today and she fired off good as new. I can't believe that thing worked as long as did from the looks of it! Thank you for all the help!
