Default 90 ef hatch w/b16a w/st. b16 trans...?

i just bought this 90 ef hatch w/ b16a about a couple weeks ago and it is going to be a project car .well when i bought the car the kid that sold it to me said it did not drive yet bc the pass/ axle was messed up, from him saying he made a fast u-turn and the axle popped out and bent the axle hub in the trans. so right now im trying to change out the axle and the damn hub will not come out. i am even using a heavy duty pry bar to get it out and will not budge. i even tried to get the half shaft out and it wont budge either....so what is the best option for me to do here, just start taking out the trans, and then try taking the axle hub out that way, or just better go find another trans? i mean i did jack the front of the car up and drove through the gears and it drove find besides the little wobble bc the axle hub was bent. 1st thing is i found out the axle that was on the car was from a 94-00 teg and i was told from many diff. people that i need 89-92 da teg axles. is this true? also i have a idle problem, i was told just replace the idle control valve, and should be good. it revs up and down for about 10-15 mins. and then goes to normal rpms(800-1000 rpms). please any fyi would be great bc i need this car on the road soon. thanks....hondacivicforum...

ive answered your question before on your previous post about the axles, now just take the center cv axle nut off, then unbolt the bottom balljoint and take a ball joint seprator and seprate the ball joint then lift the whole assembly and tap on the cv axle to get it out of the rotor, then take a screw driver and pry the cv axle out of the trans.

If the axle won't come out of the transmission, take the large end of the boot loose and pull the inner CV joint apart. Then take the transmission out of the car. I think that after removing the opposite axle, you could reach through the transmission / dfferential with a punch and hit the end of the axle. But if it's really bent that may not work either.

my problem is not taking the axle out, the axle is out, it popped out from last owner. the problem is the axle hub w/ the gear on it for the trans is stuck in there and from being bent it is either bent agents the gearing in the trans or the c-clip that holds the axle in place is jammed in there very well.... like the other guy said i only have a few options is to take the trans out and then have a better chance removing the axle hub. bc opne thing i can not even pull on the half shaft at all. i even tried pulling on it with my weight w my feet against on the car. still did nothing. my friend said that even if i can get them out it might be hard putting the new axle in there. he told it would be best just to get another trans. which he said he would sell me a ls trans for a good price.... thanx for the ideas..

You may need to tilt the flywheel end of the engine down so the transmission can come out.
