Default 90 LX intermittent issue led on ecu stays on. PLEASE HELP!

I have a 90 lx and can not figure out what is causing the running issue. If I am sitting at idle for around 10 minutes the engine stumbles then the cel comes on, the idle rises to about 2k. When I check the computer for a code the led is lit solid. When it happens on the freeway it will start by randomly jerking like the ignition cuts out for a split second then comes back. After doing that a few times it will suddenly start to bogg and the cel comes on and the led on the ecu is lit solid. If I turn the ignition off one possition and back on while still rolling down the freeway the car runs normal again but will eventually do it again. If im on surface streets and it starts to run rough and cel comes on it doesnt die but runs very rough and wont go over 3k rpm's. It has died only once over the period of a few months. If I accelarate quickly while the cel is on it will sometimes pop thru the intake. I have replaced the water pump with coolant bleed properly, autozone reman distributor w/new cap and rotor, plugs and wires are about 5k miles old, timing belt, cleaned the iac and tried a cleaned junk yard one with no results, valves have been adjusted, timing belt, and fuel filter. PLEASE HELP! This is driving me crazy!

i dont really know anything about a 90 lx motor. If it was a later model it sounds like the crank position sensor or solenoid valve that has something to do with timing.

I set the timing after replacing the distributor. This car doesn't use a crank sensor, I believe it uses the ignitor in the distributor for the same function.

It's a reasonable bet that you have a bad ECU. The LED should never come on steady.
