Hi all. I am hoping someone can help with some knowledge about this problem. I recently bought a 91 civic ex with auto tranny and have tuned the vehicle up but the tranny was slamming into gear so I replaced the engine and tranny mounts and drained and refilled the tranny with dexron 'cos that what it says to.(2.5 qts) Now it won't go into 2nd unless reved very high and then seems to miss 3rd and straight into 4th. Reverse and 1st are not affected. It will work a little better after being warmed up but I don't want to kill it so am not driving it until I get answers.I'm going to look at the shifter cable and throttle linkage as it may have moved with all the slamming that took place before but am not convinced it's just that. Does anyone have any clues what's up? Thanks.
