The civic died on me on my way home Sunday night. It has fuel pressure, injector pulse and spark. I verified the timing marks. The will crank but will not fire and dumps fuel out of the exhaust. Tried to get it to fire with starting fluid and still nothing. Compression test ran between 110 and 130 on all cylinders with the engine cold, it is low but I dont think it should prevent the car from starting. Looking for some advice before I end up wasting money on a new distributor. Thank you.

 

Did you check the ECU for codes?

 

I have not, guess I should look into that tonight.
