91 civic - where's that damn thermal switch?

Default 91 civic - where's that damn thermal switch?
My Haynes manual shows it next to the lower radiatior hose, but I don't have it there. Can someone point me to it? Thanks-

Is the thermal switch the same as Coolant Temperature Switch? I don't know if this will help: In the 92 Civic, the Coolant Temperature Switch is in the thermostat housing (see pictures).

OK, I found it. It's in the block just above the fuel filter, below the intake manifold. Now, if I can only find a way to get my hand in there...The radiator would have been much easier.

Oil filter you mean. It's next to the oil pressure switch. The thermal switch has 2 wires, the oil pressure switch only one.
