well i checkd all the fuses n ground all is good to go..but everytime i give it a 5 min rest n try to start it up it stays on jus a lil longer u think because the motors been sittn so long its just resisting life

Check the mechanical timing of the cam and crank.

Pull the plug and check for fuel and flooding in the cylinders.

well i just tryd to start it one more time it stood on for bout 20 seconds its a record so far so i think all it has to do it brak into place but ill check the timing

dnt hav the timing light but moved distributor around fired up idle at 2000rpm till i tryd to move the distributor less moved it to much n of course died out but looks lik its gunna be timing thanks ron ill keep u up dated on its performance i still gotta hook up the vtec oil pressure sensor only ecu code i seem to be getting now

Yep, sounds like the timing belt may be off by one tooth.

never changed the timing belt its a original timing belt stampd honda on it reason we didnt change its in good shape lol so i dout it could be off a tooth but maybe a possibility i got a question about the distributor tho it will not mount up or line up to the distributor holes on the head y is that is obd1 z6 distributor different from d15b

yea i figure there different code for d15b dist. is td42 n i got a td41 so but for most part its idleing okay but giv it gass wants to die? do u no why and also i have a question about the fan on obd0 motors there is no fan switch on the thermostat housing but on obd1 there is i dnt got it hookd up so the fan will not go on had to shut off motor due to heat but do no how id run it

would i run the ground wire to earth ground n the power wire to the old obd0 fan power wire? thats what id figure i should do but idk
