I want to replace my tail light housings on my '92 Civic Hatchback. Can anyone tell me how to remove the old tail light housings from the body and from the hatch tailgate. I've looked in the bulb access doors and can't seem to figure it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Bill

 

i would like to know this aswell, i just tried replacing a bulb but i cant find any screws and dont want to force it out because i dont want to break anything.. Someone must change tailight bulbs??

 

I'm tring to remove the whole tail light housing, not just the bulbs. Anyone know how?

 

they work hand in hand.. cant replace the bulb without removing the tailight...

and im new to this forum, but others i have been on actually had people who could answer these type of questions, whats the deal?

 

Yes, you most definately can replace all the bulbs without removing the tail light housings. I still need to know how to remove the entire tail light housing.

 

There are four 8mm(or 10mm don't remember...) anyways take those and remove them completely. These are for the outer lights mounted on the body, not the trunk! The ones in the trunk i forgot how they go , buti'll look at mine tommorrow morning and post back maybe take a few pics. to show you guys. it's a piece of cake. Use the search on hcf browser.and look for tail light removal or all possible different search terms relating to it. i asked the same Q a while bakc when i changed mine out. i'll deffinately take pics and for the diy or parts help sections. I'll take pics and stuff tomorrow morning and should post bakc by noon or so.
