all the wires under the hood are tight, fuses in under the dash are good, although none seem to be labeled for ignition, under the hood by the battery are all good, is there a relay somewhere?

Check your main Relay, it's located above your left foot just under the dash and is attached with a 10mm bolt.

Pull the cap off and examine very closely the solder points. Look for circular cracks where the pins come through the green circut board.

Once you have the main relay apart don't bother testing or even inspecting it, just resolder everything. It's a good preventative measure. I'm pretty sure the main relay won't cause a failure to crank though. The starter circuit engages the main relay, not the other way around.

There is a safety switch on the clutch pedal if manual or the transmission if automatic. Also I think the manual has a relay involved with the safety switch. And of course (duh) the key switch itself is a remote possibility.

Turn key to ON position (motor not running), CEL should come on, then you'll hear a CLICK sound as the CEL goes away. If all this happens, main relay is fine
