Why not make your own thread?
As for the breaks, check for visible leaks. If there is none, there's an internal leak in the master cylinder. Rubber caps are worn and need to be replaced either as a kit or the whole master cylinder itself.

No offense, but I'm failing to see the similarity of our problems other than a brake problem. But I'm certain that your brakes will not cause your engine to "scream" at you. Sounds like a throttle issue of some sort anywhere from the pedal to the intake. I would spray some WD-40 at your pedal hinges and the ends of your throttle cable to start with.

As for my parking brake thing, where exactly do I put the 12 mm wrench to, cuz I'm a bit confused. Do you mean where the cable enters the back plate?

Yes the other person should start a new thread. In that thread, try to identify exactly which part of the car the noise is coming from. Have someone outside listen if necessary. Obviously do not drive on the road with faulty brakes.

To remove the cable take the brake shoes off and disconnect the inner part of the cable from the lever on the brake shoe. Then slide the box end over the inner part of the cable, all the way down to the backing plate to release the springs. Finally grab the outside part of the cable behind the plate and pull it out.

Ok cool, I'll give it a whirl. I bet the fun part will be dealing with the rusty mounting clips.

Thanks for your help.
