Default 93 civic hatch with a b18c type R swap idle issues

I just got the car it has intake full exhaust different ecu its been gutted i believe the intake manifold is after market it has had on it. the injectors are itps and i think it has the stock civic fuel pump. But when i first got the car it ran fine just blew a little smoke when vtec engaged which i assume is bad piston rings. But now the cars idle never gets above 200 and its running so rough it shakes at idle and has absolutely no get up and go i ran injector cleaner and changed my oil to a full synthetic i havent ran anything but priemium fuel im gonna change my fuel filter and check my plugs could it be a timing issue? What arr your guys opinions

What your going to want to do is pull pack your passenger side carpet, and check your ECU. count the flashes.

long flash is 10
each small flash is 1.

I am willing to bet it is a combination of either motor mounts, or more likely a MAP sensor. I would bet money on it being a MAP!!

o2 sensor could be your culprit too.

Where is the map located and how would I test to see if its good or bad? The motor mounts are all brand new. today my vtec would engage then disengage then reengage and being running so rough and also where is the iacv?

Sounds like a MAP sensor issue to me. The MAP sensor should be on the Throttle Body. The IACV should be located on the back of the Intake manifold.

So the issues was the injector cables all the clips are broken on them so with a bump they pop off so I had two that werent on all the way so I only had 2-4 cylinders depending on when it hit a bump so tilll I can get new clips I have them temp fixed with zip ties I have absolutely no issues anymore

Dam I hate being wrong haha.
Thats great to hear good luck to you man!! happy its an easy fix.

I would recommend reading up man, you need to know how to fix you own car when you get into a project car like you have. I can tell you from experience that you need to know how to do some extensive fixes when you buy swapped cars/project cars. Grab a haynes manual, and know where all your sensors are, and how to fix stuff.
