I have a 93 Honda Civic that I recently put a bunch of money into to keep it running and safe for my two girls to use when they are home from college. It had been running fine and my wife went to drive it and came back and said there was a thumping sound coming from the rear. It is a pretty distinct thumping sound and it definitely sounds like something in the rear....any ideas would be greatly appreciated. And if you have an idea of what it might be could you also let me know a ballpark figure for what it might take to fix.

I just had the same thing start happening to my 92 hb. Anybody got any ideas what it might be.
