Anyone? I cannot get in my trunk. I have a 93 honda del sol, no inside release. Dealer, locksmith and body shop all came up with nothing. The key turns but I think the rod that connects the lock to the latch disconnected...not sure though. Regardless I need some ideas on how to get it open. If you cannot figure out a way to get it open. Then the last resort would be to cut off the lock from the outside of the trunk. You can then buy a new stock lock from the dealer to replace it .

 

I am having the same problem right now. Changing the old lock does nothing if the linkage is not connected at the latch. So for I am currently trying to pry open the edge of my trunk and find the latch release and pull it. I am hopeful. If that doesn't work, I am going to grind a hold behind the license plate so it can easily be repaired without anyone ever seeing it. I'll post again one I get it handled.
