Had my 04 civic two years. Bought it with 98,000 miles on it and now it has 117,000. Runs and drives great. However, 4 or 5 times the engine has cut out and the entire car shuts off while driving. 2 or 3 of those times it happened when I was backing out of a parking spot and shifting from reverse to drive. I also lost the radio for about 2 months and then it mysteriously came back on. I've also noticed trouble shifting in high gears on the highway especially between 3rd and 4th. Seems like something is draining the power perhaps? I'm assuming all these issues are electrical but don't know if they are connected or separate issues. Thanx for any feedback and advice.
