94 civic DX - replaced head gasket - antifreeze leaking out
Hi.
I am learning car repair ....slowly.
My daughter's 94 civic was overheating..they tested and said bad head gasket.
I removed head and had it machined flat.
I bought the entire set of gaskets and new head bolts.
I put it all back together and torqued bolts per specs.... but stupidly I put the intake gasket on incorrectly.
When I added antifreeze, it leaked out.
I removed the intake and checked the gasket (appeared ok) and put on correctly. I tightened everything down and there is antifreeze leaking out of somewhere but I cant tell where.
If I get underneath the engine I can feel it dripping down but can't place where its coming from.
Any help would really be appreciated...Im at wits end.

I added more antifreeze to radiator and then I could hear more dripping out somewhere way back underneath....I used a high powered flash light to search for where its coming from but I cannot see. I did look at all hoses and they appear to be connected
Relative to gaskets I did not put any "copper" stuff on as the machine shop guy said it was not needed....should i have ?
Any other suggestions would be helpful
Thanks
Tim

You'll have to get underneath the car. There is a pretty good view of the back of the engine from underneath.
Gaskets don't need any extra stuff. When it drips out right away after filling with no pressure, there is a big opening that is not just a gasket leak.
