Default 94 Civic Si Cruise Control

Hi, I'm new here, I'm trying to find out what's wrong with my cruise control on my 94 civic Si. The light comes on on the button on the dash, the horn works, the clutch switch to the starter is jumped out so you dont have to press the clutch to start the car, the other switch is still there and wired up, the brake switch is there and still wired up, I'm just not sure which item to start with

You'll need a multimeter to troubleshoot.

Check the clutch pedal arm and see if the grommet that is suppose to push the clutch cruise control switch is still there. It can break and you won't be able to use cruise control.

It's a separate switch from the clutch interlock switch.

Start by checking the fuses:

Next use your multimeter to do the control unit input tests:

I'm talking about the one on the clutch, not the brake switch.

Thanks the rubber grommit was not there, the switch was just going right through the hole, it now engages as far as the green instrument light comes on now, but I think I may need a new actuator, it's not holding any speed, it just acts like i'm not pressing the accelerator

Have you inspected the actuator? Are the actuator cable and plug in place?

Is the CEL ON? Do the speedo and tach work?

Note that the solution to your cruise control problem may not be obvious. Rather than guess what the problem may be, use a multimeter to run through the input tests in the diagram. This should pinpoint the specific problem.

Are you sure you are doing the controls right? Mine seems to be a little picky and sometimes you have to press set a few times before it works.
