Default Anyone install cruise control on their Civic?

For Civics that weren't factory made with cruise control, like my 99 HX, have any of you installed an aftermarket cruise control? How hard was it to install? Did it work well? Can you tell us what you bought?

I'm thinking about getting this one -

But here's a selection of them -

Anyone got any from this selection?

An oem cruise control might be easy to install, but there's no oem one for my HX.

My '97 DX had aftermarket cruise on it when I bought it. I have no idea what brand it is or what was involved as far as installing goes, but it works great and I'm thankful I have it on those long drives.

Can you post a pic of it on the engine and steering wheel control?

I took an oem cruise out of a 99 LX and put it in my 98 DX. It took about three hours to cut out the wires to trace them. I found thewiring schematic in a Mitchell repair manual at the library. I also had to replace the steering wheel.

you should go to a junkyard and just get OEM cruise control. i was at my junkyard a few days ago and i saw quite a few civics with the cruise control still installed. you can also use the cruise control from a 96-97 del sol, and i think all del sols have cruise control, so if you find a del sol, then you know its gonna have it.

ya id get a oem one IMO tho not sure what is all needed.....
only thing id know is the CC unit, track all the wires, then the steering wheel, clock spring, CC buttons. then dash CC button and then just track the wires around to any other moduals that you might need.
id rather have OEM myself... just depends what you can get it for at a junk yard...

i dont see it being that desirable....
